Mathieu Needle Driver 6 3/4"-7 1/2"

Mathieu Needle Drivers are designed for left handed midwives, but can also be used by right-handed midwives as well. The benefit of this design is that it is spring-loaded, so it's easier to open and close by squeezing your palm, no rings involved. The needle driver is opened by squeezing it past the 3 rachets and the spring will open the driver. This size is 6 3/4" (Almedic) or 7 1/2" (Sklar) depending on brand. When purchasing this larger option for every day use, you would likely not need a longer needle driver for deeper suturing.
